In the past, wood displays could be cost-prohibitive. But today, the options have widened due to the availability of composite materials and high-quality veneers. At EB Display, we push the bounds of creativity to achieve the look you desire within your budget. Using finely honed carpentry skills, the team at EB Display begins with a composite base — such as MDF (medium density fiberboard) — to build your display for function and durability. Then, a high-quality wood veneer in the desired finish is permanently adhered. Once completed, your wood display can stand up to any fine furniture.

Wood displays can give the appearance of vintage Americana or high-tech modern, depending on the design and finish. Our designers and engineers can help you determine the right choice for your project.

Finishes for Wood Displays

• Vintage: In many cases, an antiqued look is achieved by using a warm oak or walnut finish. The look is completed with appropriate hardware, which can be functional or decorative.
• Modern: Modern styles begin with clean lines and are often crafted with lighter woods, such as maple or poplar. Hardware for modern designs is usually minimal, mimicking the overall look of the piece.
• Traditional or Classic: Some wood displays will be used for a variety of purposes. In this case, a more traditional design is fitting. Classic designs are known for their sensible construction and rich brown finishes.

Wood displays can also be painted any Pantone or CMYK color, or we can custom match any color. Our construction methods are similar to those used to build fine furniture. In fact, we invite you to visit our work site to see how we work. EB Display’s on-site equipment for woodworking includes: a CNC Router (5’x20’ table capacity), a CNC Beam Saw, a Contour Edge Bander, and a Horizontal/Vertical Boring Machine. Because our machinery is right here on the premises, we are able to keep careful watch over the entire process of your display’s construction.
